Welcome to Øigardseter

Øigardseter Mountain Lodge is beautifully situated at Høvringen, the gateway to the mighty mountain area of Rondane.

At Øigardseter, we offer accommodation in traditional surroundings in the lodge, in modern apartments and in a simpler cabin. All our guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and a three-course dinner with a fantastic view of the mountains and Gudbrandsdalen. Enjoy our cozy fireplace with a good book.

Øigardseter also has a small hill with a ski slope right outside the door. The hill is well suited for children and beginner. If you prefer a longer ski trip or a popular winter experience for the kids, you can join our own snowcat from 1956 for a trip in Rondane.

We have been welcoming guests for almost 100 years. We emphasize well-being and personal service that bring many of our guests back year after year.

Explore Rondane

The Explore Rondane self-guided trek is a great alternative to a fully guided tour. The stages vary between 6-12 km in easy terrain, and you can forget about the hassle of carrying heavy backpacks, as the lodges will transport the luggage for you. They will even serve you traditional dinner and welcome you to warm, comfortable beds at the end of the day.
