What could be better than enjoying a few days in a relaxed atmosphere at Høvringen Fjellstue, with opportunities for both adults and children to experience everything the mountains have to offer? You can choose between staying in one of Øigardseter’s hotel rooms or in one of our cosy cabins/apartments. The hotel has a total of 30 rooms divided into double rooms, single rooms and our popular family rooms.

The cabins/apartments are of varying sizes and can accommodate between 2 to 8 people. There is a fully-equipped kitchen and a TV in all cabins/apartments.

The cabins/apartments are self-catering, so guests must bring their own bed linen and wash it themselves. However, at an additional cost, visitors can have their beds made for them and bathroom towels can be provided. We can also clean your room at the end of your stay if you so wish. All meals can be purchased at the hotel if you don’t want to cook yourself.

All our guests can make use of the hotel’s facilities free of charge. We have two, large lounges with open fireplaces, a sauna, car parking and internet throughout the entire area. Seize the opportunity to take someone you are fond of on a mountain hike in a traditional setting. This is a place for those who wish for a genuine experience and traditional Norwegian mountain lodge life. Enjoy tasty, homemade food along with a wonderful view of the mighty mountains.

Hotel

All our hotel rooms are located on the ground and first floors, close to cosy communal areas and the dining room. We have 4 different types of hotel rooms so that you can always find something that suits you, your family and your travel companions. Coffee and tea are available at all times in the reception area and are free of charge. We have a pool table and you may borrow many different types of board games, suitable for both adults and children.

Information is provided every morning about current events that are taking place nearby, and other useful information such as the weather forecast and ski trail reports during the winter season.

Apartments

Do you prefer making your own meals or do you just want some more space? We offer apartments with two bedrooms and good standard. The apartments consist of a living room with TV and kitchenette, a large bathroom and a bedroom with a double room.

We also have an apartment with three bedrooms. «Peisestua» is the old farm house that was built at Øigardseter in the late 19th century. It is a wooden house with a large fireplace, and the bedrooms, the kitchen and the bathroom are modern. The bedrooms have a double bed and a bunk bed, and there is room for extra beds. Our guests can use all our facilities and can eat some or all of the meals at the mountain lodge.

Cleaning from NOK 500 to NOK 2000. Linen NOK 120 per person.

Discounts and extras

Half board: – NOK 40 per night.
Children in extra bed: 0–4 years free, 5–12 years half price.
Adult in extra bed: –25 %.
Dog: NOK 80 per dog per night.

During the summer, we serve ¾ board with breakfast, packed lunch and a three-course dinner. – NOK 20 per night off the full board price. If you prefer full board you can eat lunch at Rondane Haukliseter Fjellhotell.

Cancellation policy:
You can cancel your reservation 14 days before arrival without any costs. Later cancellation will be charged 50 % of the full price for the entire stay. If you cancel on the arrival daye, if you don’t show up or if you terminate your stay, you will be charged 100 % of the full price for the entire stay. All cancellations and changes must be done in writing.
